Wake-Up Call Wednesday: Magic (Video from Disneyland!)

Wake-Up Call Wednesday: Magic (Video from Disneyland!)

Dear One,

I’ve spent the last 3 days in Disneyland with my 4 year old watching her drink in pure magic…smiling at awe at Mickey Mouse and princesses and fireworks. I’ve had the joy of experiencing a profound sense of magic myself; the kind that makes me tear up and feel like a little girl again.

I made you a video straight from my heart to yours to inspire you to bring some magic in too.

Click play to watch it. (You may want to adjust your volume down a bit…lots of roller coaster glee and kiddos in the background!)

From my little girl to yours,

P.S. Please take a moment and leave a comment and feel free share.

Good morning Amy, thanks for sharing! Disneyland is a very magical place and especially when you are with children! My magic is in understanding my trig homework and learning about climate change! And being blessed enough to have the opportunity to go to school!!
    Have fun!

I have just spent the day delivering a playshop with people in their 80s working with young people 12-13 making art about the generation divide and getting to know one another through play! It was absolutely magical.
I also saw a rainbow the other day on the way home from working with kids who are affected by drug and alcohol misuse via family members and from where I was the rainbow looked like it was coming out of the tallest building which is a block of flats in one of our most deprived areas. Now that was magical. I send fairy post to kids to put some magic in their lives and I make tiny wands for them. http://www.fairypost.co.uk Please order one – they are free but if you would like to make a donation to our Childrens Hospital follow the link when ordering. x
